Beaches

Tsabou beach is a large pebble beach in the north of Samos between the villages Agios Konstantinos and Avlakia. It is accessed via a steep ramp from the main road. There is a place to park your car next to the beach and a very nice tavern. Big waves should be expected, if it’s a windy day. Tsamadou beach is a beautiful pebble beach, surrounded by tall pine trees, olive trees and mountains. It is located at the north coast of Samos near Avlakia village, at the bottom of mountain Abelos. The beach with its impressive tranquil colors and crystal clear water, is very pretty, scenic and one of the most beautiful in Samos island. Tsamadou beach is an organized beach with facilities, sunbeds umbrellas taverns and bars on sight. Even though it is located at the north coast of the island, its position in a bay and orientation  protects it from strong summer north winds. You can drive or take public transportation to reach it. However due to its location you have to walk down a steep path to get to the beach. It's about 5,5 km away from the hotel.

Megalo Seitani beach is a 350m long beach with coarse sand, situated at a distance of 6km from Karlovassi on the north west coast of the island. The sea is pretty deep and very clean. It's not protected from the northern winds, which raise high waves when blowing. It is a natural park of great ecological value since it is the center of the few seals monachus-monachus still living in the area. There are no accommodation or food and drinks facilities available in the area. The beach is not organized at all and it is the perfect choice for those preferring a quiet and solitary swimming in a crystal clear sea. Access from Karlovassi can be done either by driving up to potami beach and walking afterwards or by daily departing excursion boats. On your way to Megalo Seitani (big Seitani) you will find a smaller beach called Mikro Seitani (small Seitani).

The wider area including Megalo Seitani and Mikro Seitani nearby is a sea park that hosts Monachus-Monachus seals.
